营养学 is an interdisciplinary science that studies the application of the principles of human 营养 and foods. 营养学 is becoming increasingly important in the maintenance of health and the prevention of diseases for people of all ages -- from infancy to old age.

Graduates who successfully complete the 4-year ACEND-accredited undergraduate didactic dietetics program at 州立鲍灵格林大学, which leads to a Bachelor of Science Degree in 营养学, are eligible to apply to an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program (also called a Dietetic Internship) after graduation. 目前, getting accepted into a dietetic internship is a very competitive process with a higher ratio of graduating students to internship sites.
